Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD), candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be over 18 years of age
- Be a citizen of a Global UGRAD participating country, currently residing in that country
- Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in good standing at an accredited university, public or private
- Have at least one year remaining at their home university at the conclusion of the Global UGRAD program
- Have completed secondary education in their home country
- Have a good command of written and spoken English
- Be ready to begin studies in the U.S. in January 2024
- Be eligible to receive and maintain the U.S. student exchange visa (J-1)
- Must be cleared by a physician to participate in the program
- Be ready to return to their home country after the completion of the program
